After the opening pesukim, four brachos are recited:
Havdalah marks the end of Shabbos with brachos over wine, fragrant spices (besamim, בשמים), and the light of a candle with several wicks. The final bracha praises Hashem for creating distinctions: between holy and ordinary, light and darkness, Klal Yisrael and the nations, and Shabbos and the six weekdays.
A Havdalah card keeps the full text in front of you, so you can recite Havdalah with ease.
Choose from frosted Lucite Havdalah cards with mirrored or metallic details, the black-and-gold Onyx design, or hand-painted artist designs. Lucite card holders and bases are sold separately.
