The Diamond Chanukah Match Jar from the Waterdale Collection is a stylish match holder designed to sit beside your menorah (מנורה) during Chanukah (חנוכה) candle lighting. Its unique diamond shape is made from thick, crystal-clear Lucite and features metallic mirror lettering and the Hadlakas Ner Chanukah Brachos (הדלקת נר חנוכה) in nusach Ashkenaz / Sefard.
The match jar sits in a coordinating base with a built-in match striker, while the magnetic cover keeps matches safely covered and close at hand. Available in gold or silver, it makes an elegant addition to your menorah setup.
Add personalized engraving to create a customized Chanukah gift, and coordinate it with the Diamond Chanukah Collection.
Two brachos are recited before lighting the Chanukah menorah on most nights: L'hadlik Ner Chanukah and She'asah Nissim. On the first night, a third bracha, Shehecheyanu, is added. The wording can vary by nusach, so choose Chanukah brachos in your family's tradition.
Complete Chanukah brachos can include the brachos recited before lighting, along with Haneiros Hallalu, said after lighting, and Maoz Tzur, which many families sing together. Many Waterdale Chanukah brachos include all three. Check each listing for the exact text included.
Our Chanukah brachos are available in nusach Ashkenaz / Sefard, with additional options in Edut Mizrach or a transliterated version with the translation. Check each product listing for the specific nusach options available.
Each format works well for a different setting. Brachos cards are slim and compact and can be displayed in a separate holder. Tabletop pieces and blocks stand beside the menorah on their own, while leatherette booklets are easy to pass around the table or bring along when lighting away from home. Waterdale also offers combination pieces that display the brachos alongside features such as a clock, match holder, or a lighter.
Lucite provides a crisp, easy-to-read display that can be used year after year and wiped clean easily. Lucite is oil-resistant, making it a practical choice for displaying beside an oil menorah.
A Chanukah brachos card can be held by hand or displayed in a separate card holder for an upright presentation beside the menorah. Check your card dimensions before ordering to ensure you choose the appropriate holder.
