Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best pearl marble Chanukah brachos display to place beside the menorah?

The best choice depends on your style and the space beside your menorah. The collection includes four coordinated brachos displays:

Pearlstone Tabletop Chanukah Brachos: a 5" x 8" freestanding Lucite tabletop piece with a pearl marble overlay, crisp black lettering, gold mirrored accents, and included pegs. Written in nusach Ashkenaz / Sefard.
Pearl Marble Classic Tabletop Brachos: a 5" x 8" pearl marble design with gold-foil arched trim and a gold metal stand.
Pearlstone Oil Jug Chanukah Block: a 7" x 9" oil jug design made of 1" thick crystal-clear Lucite, with a pearlstone handle. A statement piece for the menorah display.
Chanukah Classic Arch Brachos Clock: a 5" x 10" gold arch frame with a working clock above the brachos.

What bracha do we say when lighting Chanukah candles?

Two brachos are said before lighting the Chanukah menorah each night, and Shehecheyanu is added on the first night:

The first bracha thanks Hashem for commanding us to light the Chanukah lights. The second thanks Him for the miracles He did for our forefathers at this time of year. Shehecheyanu thanks Hashem for bringing us to this season once again.

Do the Pearl Marble Chanukah brachos include Haneiros Hallalu and Maoz Tzur?

Yes. The Pearlstone Tabletop, Classic Tabletop, Oil Jug Block, and Arch Brachos Clock each include the Chanukah brachos (ברכות חנוכה), Haneiros Hallalu (הנרות הללו), and Maoz Tzur (מעוז צור) in Hebrew. The Pearlstone Tabletop, Oil Jug Block, and clock are written in nusach Ashkenaz / Sefard.

Will the Pearl Marble menorah tray fit my Lucite menorah?

The Chanukah Pearl Marble Menorah Tray measures 11" x 18". It’s an arch-shaped tray made of 8mm clear Lucite, with a gold border, חנוכה in gold script, and a pearl marble panel set into the top. Four clear rubber feet elevate the tray to help protect your table or windowsill. Before ordering, measure your menorah’s base and ensure it fits within the tray’s dimensions.

Is there a timer for the 30 minutes the Chanukah candles should burn?

Yes. The Chanukah 30 Minute Sand Timer marks the half hour that many have the custom to remain by the menorah lights. The Lucite hourglass sits on a magnetic pearl marble base lettered להדליק נר חנוכה, and it comes in gold or silver. It pairs naturally with the Arch Brachos Clock for keeping track of time during Hanukkah candle lighting.

Does the Pearl Marble Chanukah collection match my Pearlstone Judaica?

Yes. These pieces share the same pearl marble and gold look as our year-round Pearlstone Collection, so your Chanukah display coordinates with the Shabbos and home Judaica you already own. Start with the menorah tray, then add a brachos piece and the sand timer for a complete matching set.

What is a good Hanukkah gift under $50?

The Pearlstone Tabletop Chanukah Brachos, Classic Tabletop Brachos, and Chanukah Sand Timer all make elegant Hanukkah gifts under $50, and the Pearlstone Tabletop is also a popular Chanukah party favor. For a more substantial gift, choose the Oil Jug Block or pair the menorah tray with a brachos piece. You can find more ideas in our Chanukah Gifts Collection or our Chanukah Gift Guide.

Can I get a personalized engraved Chanukah gift?

Yes. Engraving is available on the menorah tray, Oil Jug Block, Pearlstone Tabletop, sand timer, and Arch Brachos Clock in this collection, as well as many of our other Chanukah items. Personalization makes each piece an especially thoughtful Hanukkah gift for a friend, hostess, teacher, or family member.
