Frequently Asked Questions

Why use chargers on the sukkah table?

Chargers anchor each place setting and protect the tablecloth from spills and dew — practical concerns that are doubled at an outdoor sukkah meal. They also add the layered, finished look that makes a temporary hut feel like a Yom Tov dining room.

What chargers work best outdoors on Sukkos?

Leather and leather-inspired chargers are the sukkah standard: they wipe clean, don't chip when carried in and out all week, and handle temperature swings that crack cheaper materials. Waterdale's woven leather, beveled, and scalloped rounds are all built for it.

What charger styles are in this collection?

Woven leather, classic leather round, beveled, and scalloped designs sit alongside geometric, dot border, thin border, black, and classic chargers. Whether your sukkah table leans modern or traditional, there's a charger family to match.

How many chargers do I need for Sukkos?

Set your longest expected guest list — Chol Hamoed meals tend to grow — and round up to a full set, since odd numbers show at a symmetric table. Chargers from this line can be added to later, so starting with eight and growing to twelve keeps the look consistent.

Can Sukkos chargers be used the rest of the year?

Absolutely — these same chargers serve Shabbos, Shavuos, and every Yom Tov, which is exactly why leather chargers justify their quality. Sukkos is simply the week they prove themselves outdoors.

How do I clean leather chargers after outdoor meals?

Wipe them with a soft damp cloth after each meal and dry them before stacking — no soaking, no abrasives. Stored flat over the winter, they come back to the sukkah looking new.

What do chargers pair with on a Sukkos table?

Match them to leather napkin wraps and cup covers from the same palette, with the wood collection's napkin rings and caddy for a natural harvest feel. One material story across the table is the simplest route to an elegant sukkah setting.
