Layered navy and blue brushstrokes, a luminous cream center and gold accents give the Painted Navy Tabletop Ushpizin from the Waterdale Collection its distinctive look. Expressive painted details frame the Hebrew text for welcoming the Ushpizin (אושפיזין) into the Sukkah.

Zelda’s original artwork is printed on 6mm Lucite with the text in nusach Ashkenaz / Sefard. The 8" x 8" piece includes standing pegs to hold it upright as a freestanding centerpiece for the Sukkos table.

Waterproof and wipeable, the Lucite tabletop cleans easily after Yom Tov meals. It makes a perfect and practical gift for Sukkot.

Who are the Ushpizin?
The Ushpizin are seven holy guests: Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov, Moshe, Aharon, Yosef and Dovid. According to the Zohar, they come to visit every sukkah on Sukkos. Each day one of them leads, and all seven are welcomed before the meal. Inviting them also reminds us to welcome guests, especially those in need, into our sukkah.‏
