    What does Al Hamichya mean?
Al Hamichyah, also called Me’ein Shalosh, is a blessing recited after eating certain foods, including mezonos made from the five grains, drinking wine or grape juice, or eating fruits of the seven species. It thanks Hashem for the food and for Eretz Yisrael, asks Him to rebuild Yerushalayim and the Beis Hamikdash, and closes by praising Hashem, Who is good and does good for all.

    What does Borei Nefashos mean?
Borei Nefashos is the bracha recited after eating or drinking foods that do not require Birchas Hamazon or Al Hamichya, such as vegetables, meat, dairy and most drinks. It thanks Hashem for creating all living things and providing everything they need to live, praising Him as the Life of the worlds.
