1. What is Hadlokas Neiros?
Hadlokas Neiros (הדלקת נרות) is the mitzvah of lighting candles before Shabbos and Yom Tov, traditionally done by the woman of the home shortly before sundown. The brachah is said after lighting, and many add the yehi ratzon tefillah that follows it — a request for children, health, and a home filled with light.
2. What's included in the Resin Hadlokas Neiros Set?
The set is made up of five coordinating pieces sold individually: an 11" x 17" curve candle lighting tray, a freestanding 6" x 9" block displaying the brachah and full yehi ratzon, a matchbox holder with a concealed drawer and built-in striker, a match cloche, and an arch tzedakah box.
