The Resin Dreidel Sculpture Match Jar from the Waterdale Collection is a match holder shaped as a sculptural dreidel, made to sit beside your menorah for Chanukah (חנוכה) candle lighting. Long matches stand inside under a lift-off lid, ready for all eight nights. Match-striker adhesive is included for easy lighting.
The dreidel rests point-down in a matching base that keeps it steady on the table. Cast in resin, it doubles as Chanukah décor on a shelf or tablescape between lightings. Available in gold and silver.
It's a thoughtful Chanukah hostess gift, or a piece of modern Judaica for your own candle-lighting setup.
What kinds of match holders do you offer?
Our collection covers every way you like to keep matches — matchbox holders that dress up a standard box of matches, match jars and cloches for loose matches, and cylinder and block match holders. There's a match holder for every counter and candle setup.
What can I use these match holders for?
They're made for every time you light: Shabbos candle lighting, Havdalah (הבדלה), and Chanukah. Keeping a beautiful matchbox holder right where you light means you're never searching for matches at the moment you need them.
Do any double as a besamim holder?
Yes. Depending on the style, several of our match holders are designed to work beautifully as a besamim holder too, so one elegant piece can serve double duty for Shabbos and Havdalah.
What materials and finishes are available?
Choose the look that suits your home — marble, onyx, and agate designs, clear lucite and glass cloche styles, and hand-painted and watercolor finishes.
Do you have match holders to match my candlesticks or havdalah set?
We do. Many match holders share finishes — marble, onyx, and lucite — with our candlesticks and havdalah pieces, so your candle-lighting setup looks coordinated.
Does a match holder make a good gift?
A beautiful match holder is a thoughtful, useful gift used all the time — a lovely Jewish wedding gift or Jewish housewarming present. It pairs perfectly with candlesticks or a havdalah set for a complete, giftable set.
