We're closed for Shabbos. We reopen [[opentime]]. Time until we reopen: [[countdown]]. Thanks for understanding.
Challah is a traditional Jewish braided bread eaten on Shabbat and Jewish holidays. This soft, slightly sweet enriched bread is made with eggs, giving it a signature golden color and rich texture. As a central part of the Shabbat table or holiday table, challah symbolizes blessing, tradition and gathering, often presented with a challah cover and coordinated accessories.
Serving challah traditionally involves a few essential challah accessories that elevate both presentation and meaning. Many people ask what accessories are needed for challah, including a challah cover, challah board, knife and serving tray.
Setting a beautiful table is part of the tradition, often referred to as Hiddur Mitzvah, or enhancing the mitzvah through presentation.
To create a complete Shabbat table, place two loaves of challah (known as Lechem Mishneh) on your board, cover them with a challah cover and prepare your knife for slicing.
Whether your style is modern or traditional, the right challah accessories turn your table into a meaningful centerpiece.
From challah boards and challah covers to knives and serving trays, each piece plays a role in both tradition and presentation. Explore our collection of challah accessories to create a Shabbat table that is both beautiful and functional.
