The Pomegranate Simanim Card puts the Yehi Ratzon text and the artwork on one clear panel, blessings printed down one side for foods like apple and honey, pomegranate, dates and gourd, and on the other, pomegranates, apples and honey drips drawn in outline, waiting for color.

It's clear Lucite, so permanent markers sit on the surface and light comes through behind them for a stained-glass finish; oil-based and metallic markers read closer to print. Most run 30–60 minutes, long enough to keep the pre-Yom Tov afternoon busy, short enough to finish in one sitting. Simanim (סימנים) are the blessings said over symbolic foods on Rosh Hashanah (ראש השנה), and this card carries the full text.

• Carrots: שֶׁיִּרְבּוּ זְכֻיּוֹתֵינוּ
• Leek / Cabbage:

What do the Rosh Hashanah Simanim mean?
The Rosh Hashanah Simanim are symbolic foods eaten on the first night of Rosh Hashanah, each accompanied by a Yehi Ratzon prayer. Through these prayers, we ask Hashem for a sweet new year, increased merits, to multiply like fish, to be at the head and not the tail, and for our enemies to be removed and our merits brought before Him.
