Step 1: Prepare the Floral Foam

Start by soaking the floral foam in water until it is fully saturated.

Properly soaked foam keeps the flowers hydrated and helps them stay fresh throughout Yom Tov.

Cut the foam to fit:

• The top platform of the acrylic stands
• The inside of the salad bowls

Step 2: Secure the Foam for the Tall Displays

For the elevated centerpiece pieces:

Place the soaked foam on top of the acrylic stands and secure it using cable ties.

Make sure the foam is centered and stable so it can support the flowers evenly.

These taller arrangements will add height, drama, and visual interest to the table.

Step 3: Prepare the Flowers

Cut your flowers to approximately 4-8 inches in length.

Shorter stems help create a full, dense arrangement with a luxurious look.

Choose a coordinated color palette, such as:

• Soft blush tones
• Elegant whites and greens
• Spring pastels

Repeating the same flowers and greenery throughout each arrangement helps keep the overall design cohesive.

Step 4: Start With the Perimeter

Begin by inserting flowers around the outer edge of the floral foam.

Focus on covering the entire perimeter so that:

✔ No green foam is visible
✔ The flowers form a full ring around the arrangement

This creates the foundation and structure of your centerpiece.

Step 5: Fill in the Top

Once the perimeter is covered, begin filling the top of the foam.

You can either:

• Work in sections, or
• Mix the flowers naturally for a garden-style arrangement

Scattering different flowers and greenery throughout the foam creates a lush, organic look.

The goal is an arrangement where the flowers bloom outward in all directions.

Step 6: Create the Lower Floral Bowls

For the lower arrangements:

Place soaked floral foam inside the Waterdale salad bowls and begin inserting flowers throughout the foam.

Allow some stems to gently drape over the edge of the bowl.

This technique hides the foam and creates the look of flowers naturally overflowing from the bowl.

These lower arrangements balance the taller displays and help create a layered, designer centerpiece.

Styling Tip: Repeat the Same Flowers

Using the same flowers in both the tall and low arrangements helps unify the entire tablescape.

This simple design trick creates a polished, professional look while keeping the table feeling fresh and seasonal.
