Frequently Asked Questions

What are Waterdale Color It Acrylic crafts?

Color It Acrylic (CIA) is Waterdale’s hands-on craft line, featuring mosaic, coloring, and diamond-art kits that you complete by hand. For Sukkos, the collection includes DIY Sukkah decorations and wall art that kids and families can assemble and color themselves, creating finished pieces to display in the Sukkah. The collection also includes Rosh Hashanah craft projects.

What DIY Sukkah crafts are included in the collection?

The collection includes mosaic kits featuring classic Sukkah themes and Jewish designs, including Bruchim Habaim (Welcome), Ushpizin, V’Smachta Bechagecha, and a Mizrach wall decoration. There is also a Diamond Art Dancing Chassidim piece. Each kit is designed to be completed by hand and turned into a finished decoration for the Sukkah.

Are these good Sukkah crafts for kids?

Yes. Color It Acrylic kits are designed as hands-on Sukkos crafts for children, families and groups. Smaller designs with fewer pieces can be a good choice for younger children, while larger and more detailed projects are better suited to older kids or a parent-and-child activity. Individual product listings provide specific piece counts and any available age guidance.

Can the finished DIY crafts be used as Sukkah decorations?

Yes. Select Color It Acrylic projects are designed to become Sukkah wall decorations once completed. They offer a fun way for children to take part in decorating the Sukkah while creating something they can proudly display throughout Sukkos.

What if a piece is lost or damaged?

Waterdale offers replacement piece packs for select Color It Acrylic Sukkah decorations. This allows you to replace a missing or damaged piece without purchasing an entirely new kit. When ordering a replacement, use the original kit name to make sure you select the correct pack.

Do you have DIY Rosh Hashanah crafts too?

Yes. Alongside the Sukkos crafts, the collection includes Rosh Hashanah DIY projects, including a Color It Acrylic Simanim card, apple-themed napkin rings, and a Rosh Hashanah bookmark. These creative projects give children a hands-on way to help prepare for Yom Tov.

Do I need special tools to complete a Color It Acrylic kit?

Most kits can be completed with permanent markers and the materials included in the kit, with no special tools or art skills required. Some designs recommend specific types of markers for the best results; check the individual product listing for the recommended marker and what is included with each kit.

Are Color It Acrylic kits crafts or finished Judaica?

Color It Acrylic is a DIY Judaica and holiday craft collection, rather than finished tableware. Unlike Waterdale’s ready-made honey dishes, trays, and chargers, these kits are designed to be assembled or colored by hand. The finished projects can become Sukkah decorations, Rosh Hashanah table pieces, or Yom Tov table décor.

What makes these DIY Sukkah crafts different?

Waterdale’s Color It Acrylic kits combine hands-on creativity with Jewish holiday décor. Children and families can create their own Sukkah decorations while engaging with familiar Jewish themes such as Ushpizin, Bruchim Habaim, and V’Smachta Bechagecha. The finished pieces become part of the Sukkah rather than simply being a craft that gets put away after the activity.
